Meet our Groomer!!!
Diane Johnson was born and raised in Durango Colorado. She graduated from Colorado Mountain College with a degree in Veterinary Technology in 1972. She was certified as a master groomer in 1987. Diane has been grooming for the last 20 years off and on. She moved to Texas in 2001 and now resides in the City of McKinney. In addition to grooming animals, Diane has worked as a dental assistant for several dental offices. Over the years, she developed an interest in the overall health and well-being of the animals. From nutrition, coat care, exercise, obedience, dental care, and she is also very active in dog training and agility. She owns 2 dogs herself, Creb- a white Standard Poodle and Ayla- a blonde Labrador mix. Both dogs are very well-trained and good mannered. Creb just loves doing the agility courses. Ayla is a little older now so she just lays back and watches the show. Diane has a very special touch with all animals no matter what the case is. She handles it all, fear bitters, aggressiveness, severe matts, and is very good with all cats. She always has very good results with those certain animals that nobody else will take the time with. If for any reason she is unable to perform the tasks that are needed for your animal you will be called with a list of alternate options:
( pick- up, sedation, waterless shampoo and groom, )

Hand-scaling and polishing- $30-$50
Hand Scaling or scaling with the ultrasonic scaler used in the veterinary dental procedure may make micro abrasions on the surface of the teeth allowing plaque to adhere. Polishing is an essential part of the dental process. Polishing the teeth smoothes the surface of the teeth to slow the bulid up of plaque.
